Grandad's Allotment is one of the most evocative scents we do — and easily the most unusual. It's properly green and earthy: the smell of tomato vines in a warm greenhouse, freshly turned soil and damp moss, with a tart little hint of blackcurrant running through it. If you've ever pottered about a veg patch on a summer afternoon, this will take you straight back.
It's back by popular demand — this was one of our best sellers last year, and I couldn't not bring it round again. It isn't a sweet one, and it's not trying to be: it's for people who love a green, outdoorsy, real-garden scent rather than anything fruity or floral.
Scent Profile
Top Notes: Green tomato leaf, cassis
Heart Notes: Crushed garden greenery
Base Notes: Moss, damp earth
It opens unmistakably green — that sharp, slightly bitter scent of tomato leaves on the vine, lifted by a tart twist of cassis that keeps it from feeling flat. Underneath, crushed greenery and herbaceous notes build that "just been weeding" freshness, before it settles into a soft, earthy base of moss and damp soil. It's the smell of a greenhouse after watering: green, grounded and surprisingly comforting.
What to Expect
Wax: My signature soy-paraffin blend (I use a blend because it performs better and gives you a stronger scent throw — pure soy just couldn't deliver the same results)
Glitter: Biodegradable plant-based glitter
Hand-poured: In small batches, right here
Packaging: Compostable wrapper

Why You'll Love It
So many scents play it safe. This one doesn't — and that's exactly why people fall for it. It's a proper sense-memory in wax form: tomato plants, fresh soil and that unmistakable greenhouse smell that brings back long afternoons pottering about outside. If you've got someone in your life who practically lives at their allotment, it makes a brilliant little gift too.
A little Wax Pop is the easiest way to see if this unusual one's for you before you commit to the full size.
